Wound management is a diverse specialty. The aetiology and complex nature of many wounds requires clinicians who are involved in the management of people with wounds to maintain their knowledge, skill and competency in wound management practices.
Membership of Wounds Australia can assist individuals to promote and maintain an evidence-based approach to wound management. Membership offers forums within which to debate wound management issues and learn of new treatment regimens. Through membership there are opportunities to contribute to wound management issues from a national perspective. As a member of Wounds Australia you will automatically receive Wound Practice and Research, the Journal of Wounds Australia.
Wounds Australia membership offers many opportunities for establishing professional links with clinicians with expertise in wound management or with other organisations nationally and internationally who have similar goals.
